The inspector’s account

Regional Center Representative stated that when they had conducted their visits they have observed an adequate quantity of food at the facility and they have no concerns. LPA observed 2 days perishable and 7-day non-perishable food in the kitchen and also an adequate amount of emergency food and water supply in the garage. LPA also observed a grocery list created by a nutritionist posted on the kitchen's refrigerator and the administrator stated that they use this list to purchase groceries on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Regarding the allegation " food served to clients is not of the quantity to meet their needs ", it is alleged that the clients are not getting enough food. Administrator and staff stated that the clients get 3 meals and 3 snacks a day. They follow the quantity of food that the nutritionist list on the menu. Clients interviewed could not corroborate the allegations due to communication barriers. Regional Center Representative stated that when they had conducted their visits they have observed that the clients are well fed and have no concerns. LPA observe that the facility menu shows measurements for certain food.

Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the unsubstantiated findings rendered on the report dated 01/13/2022 remain unchanged.
