On June 9, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ernand Dabuet conducted an unannounced case management visit at the facility. The DSP Abraham Ajadi, welcomed the LPA. Dabuet explained that the visit addressed the client's questions regarding pet ownership in the facility.

During a phone call, Ebeagbor Emuobonuvie said that Client #1 mentioned they got a rabbit that will live in their room. Client #2 has a fish in a tank that will also be kept in their room. Both clients will take care of their pets. Today, the LPA spoke with Client #1, who said they have been caring for their rabbit for over a month and that they are responsible for its care. Client #2 was at the facility during the visit but could not be interviewed.

Emuobonuvie recently learned that the Plan of Operation needs to be updated for pets to stay in the facility. This update will outline the necessary rules for pet care to ensure a safe environment for the animals. As of now, Community Care Licensing (CCL) has not received the updated Plan of Operation. Emuobonuvie was not at the facility today.but was informed of the visit and the citation by telephone.

According to the California Code of Regulations (Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8), the following deficiency has been observed, and a citation has been issued (ref. LIC 809-D).

An exit interview was conducted with Abraham Ajadi, and a copy of the report was provided to him.
