The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michael Cava conducted an Annual Required visit and inspection of the facility. LPA met with staff, Francisco Madarrte, and explained the reason for the visit. Administrator Lourdes Macatangay was notified over the telephone.

At approximately 11:30 am, with the assistance of staff, LPA took a tour of the physical plant. The facility is a one story building. The smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are hardwired, interconnected, and observed to be operational. The facility has two fire extinguishers that are located in the laundry area and between the residents' rooms. Fire extinguishers observed to be fully charged and was last inspected on 02/20/2025. The following were observed during the day's inspection.

Kitchen: The kitchen appliances and fixtures were functional. LPA found a sufficient amount of perishable and non-perishable food properly stored. Knives were stored in a locked cabinet. The kitchen was observed to be clean and sanitary.

Laundry: The laundry area is located next to the kitchen. Laundry toxins were locked and inaccessible to clients.

Bedrooms: There are three (3) bedrooms designated for resident use. All bedrooms are designated for private use. All three bedrooms, in use by residents, were properly furnished with appropriate beddings and linens, with sufficient lighting and closet space.
