The inspector’s account

On 2/25/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) J. Duarte conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection. LPA introduced self, stated purpose of visit and was allowed entrance. LPA met with Administrator, Christine Espinoza to conduct a tour.

The Day Program has four different buildings on site; A, B, C, and D. Participants begin their day on site and then they are community based, at the conclusion of day, participants return to site before being transported to their home.

The Tour began in Suite A, this building contains both offices and a meeting area. Interior of the building was observed to be clean and in good repair. The temperature in the building was at 69 degrees F. The water temperature measured at 115 degrees F. Sharps are kept locked in a kitchen cabinet. The building has an exit that leads to the back patio. The patio has seating available for clients.

Suite B contains 1 office and 2 rooms which are designed to provide services to participants. Administrator stated that staff help clients with work readiness and help clients develop interview skills. LPA observed interior of building to be clean and in good repair. The temperature was at 69 degrees F. The water temperature measured at 108 degrees F. Sharps (scissors) are stored in a locked staff desk. LPA observed the sliding glass door that exits towards the patio had a PVC pipe placed in the door track, securing the sliding door closed and preventing it from being opened.
