The inspector’s account

On 2/27/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Medina conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection. LPA arrived, introduced self, stated purpose of visit, and allowed entrance by care staff. House Manager, Gina Catimbang contacted by telephone and arrived a short time later to conduct facility inspection with LPA.

Facility is a 5 bedroom and 2 bathroom home, all bedrooms are private. Currently, four residents in care, all residents were present at time of inspections. Residents observed to be having afternoon snack and engaging with staff during inspection,

Facility tour began in resident bedrooms, bedrooms observed to have all required furnishings. Resident bathroom toured, LPA observed fixtures to be operational. Water temperature measured at 111 degree F. Both the living room and the dining room have adequate seating available for residents in care. Kitchen toured, LPA observed a 2-day supply of perishable and a 7-day of non-perishable food available. All knives are locked and secured in kitchen drawer. Medications observed to be locked, secured, and inaccessible to residents. Medication observed to have original labels and to be administered as stored.

Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors observed operational at time of inspection. Fire extinguisher present with a purchase date of 10/08/2024. Last fire drill conducted 1/04/2025 according to facility records.

Outside of facility toured. All exits open free of obstruction. No hazards observed

Resident and staff files reviewed during inspection.

No deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
