The inspector’s account

On 04/11/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Medina conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection visit. LPA arrived, stated purpose of visit, and allowed entrance by Licensee, Maria Emma Pangilinan.

LPA conducted a tour inside and outside of facility. Facility observed to be clean, odor free, well lit, and a comfortable temperature. Common areas observed to well furnished and have seating available for all residents in care. Resident bedrooms toured and observed to have required furnishings. Resident bathrooms were properly equipped with securely fastened grab bars in toilet and tub/shower areas, non-skid mats were observed. Hot water measured at 109 degrees F. Kitchen toured, appeared clean, observed a 7-day supply of non-perishable and 2-day supply of perishable food. Medications observed to be locked and secured. All medications observed to have have original labels and to be administered as prescribed.

Fire extinguisher serviced on 07/26/24, Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors observed operational during today’s inspection. First Aid kit observed to have required items.

Outside of facility toured. Facility has a seating area with patio umbrella for residents. Side gate was observed to be self-latching. No hazards observed.

LPA reviewed staff and client records. Exit interview conducted. A copy of this report provided to Administrator, Maria Pangilinan for facility records.

LPA received the following documents during inspection visit: Administrator Certificate, Liability Insurance, Personnel Report (LIC500), and Register of Facility Clients/Residents (LIC 9020).

No deficiencies observed during inspection.
