Facility Evaluation Report
On April 2, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lavinia Muscan arrived at the facility unannounced to conduct an annual visit . LPA met with RCC Serge Entona and explained the purpose of the visit.
Facility has been non-operational due to a facility cosmetic upgrade.
LPA inspected 6 bedrooms for residents, 2 bathrooms, common area, 1 staff room, kitchen, laundry area, office, and outdoor area. LPA checked the kitchen area for the ability to prepare and store food. LPA observed cleaning products and other toxins to be locked away. LPA observed the area used for medication to be locked and inaccessible to residents. LPA observed smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors at the care home to be operational. Fire extinguisher and first aid kit are maintained and ready for emergency use. All required postings were observed.
The RCC was advised to notify the Department when the first client moves in.
No deficiencies are being cited as a result of todays inspection.
LPA requested a copy of the LIC500, LIC610E and current liability insurance to be sent to the Department by end of the month.
Exit interview conducted. A copy of this report was left with RCC.
