HCO allows unregistered Home Care Aides to provide care services

Enforcement Analysts (EAs) Megan Vigil and Yolanda Hankerson were greeted by the designee upon arrival for the purpose of a complaint investigation.

The most current payroll record was requested and reviewed. The EAs compared the payroll record with the Home Care Aide Registry and confirmed that all selected Home Care Aides were fingerprinted and registered.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted. A copy of the 9099 and appeal rights were provided.
