The inspector’s account

On 07/15/2026 at 11:50 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) L. Alexander arrived unannounced to conduct the facility's required one-year annual inspection. LPA met with Administrator, Michele Sheldon, and explained the purpose of the visit. The facility's fire clearance is approved for a capacity of sixteen (16) ambulatory clients. The Administrator Certificate (#7025403735) expires on 05/31/2027.

LPA toured the facility, including but not limited to the client bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, common areas, and backyard. The facility has a total of nine (9) occupied client bedrooms. All indoor and outdoor passageways were observed to be free of obstructions. No bodies of water were observed on the premises.

The facility maintained a comfortable temperature of 74 degrees Fahrenheit. Lighting throughout the facility was adequate for the comfort and safety of the clients. The hot water temperature in the shared client bathroom measured 120 degrees Fahrenheit. All toilets, handwashing, and bathing facilities were clean, safe, sanitary, and in good operating condition. An adequate supply of hygiene products was available for client use.

LPA observed a minimum seven-day supply of nonperishable food and a minimum two-day supply of perishable food available.
