The inspector’s account

On 4/21/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) L. Ibo conducted an infection control annual inspection and explained the purpose of the visit with Belinda Conyers, Administrator. LPA observed 2 clients during the visit. Facility has a completed mitigation plan. LPA inspected the facility inside and outside. Pool was fenced and lock, inaccessible to clients in care. LPA observed COVID-19 signage posted in common areas to promote hand washing, cough/sneeze etiquette and physical distancing. Pathways were observed to be free of obstruction and fire hazards. Fire extinguisher last service date was May 1, 2021.

Infection control designated leader is the Administrator. There was at least 7 days of nonperishable and 2 days of perishable foods. Facility room temperature was maintained at 73 degrees Fahrenheit. A certified administrator is on site a minimum of 20 hours a week to oversee proper business operation. Smoke and Carbon monoxide detectors were operational.

LPA observed Administrator's daughter (F1) residing at facility who is an RCEB client. Daughter is fingerprint cleared and associated to facility.

LPA observed Administrator's father (F2) residing at the facility, who has his own private caregiver separate from facility staff. F2 is fingerprint cleared and associated to facility.
