Facility Evaluation Report
05/08/2025 12:45 PM Licensing Program Analyst Rebecca Knight conducted an unannounced case management visit and met with administrator Nora Serrano. Today’s visit is regarding a report of bedbugs in the facility.
It was reported that on 04/28/2025 a service coordinator with Far Northern Regional Center (FNRC) visited the facility and found bedbugs in two client rooms during an inspection. This incident was reported to Community Care Licensing on the same day.
Administrator stated as a result the licensee temporarily placed the clients in an AIRBNB while the treatment was taking place. On 04/30/2025 All furniture, belongings and clothing was removed from the entire facility and professional pest control treated the entire facility for bed bugs. The pest control company will be back in the facility on 05/09/2025 to perform follow-up treatment. The administrator has arranged for monthly pest control to include treatment for bed bugs. Administrator will submit a pest control treatment plan to LPA.
No deficiencies were issued as a result of the visit. A copy of the report was provided to the administrator.
