The inspector’s account

On 9/9/2025, Licensing Program Analyst Arvin Villanueva (LPA) arrived at this Day Program unannounced to conduct their annual inspection visit. LPA met with Administrator Karyn Gregorius, and Lurali Moore, and explained the purpose of the visit.

Overview : This day program is a one-story building and licensed to serve up to 45 adult clients. Of which, 43 can be ambulatory and 2 can be non-ambulatory. Day program is also vendored by Valley Mountain Regional Center.

Areas inspected include, but not limited to, the kitchen, classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and outdoor areas. LPA observed the inside of the facility to be clean and in good repair at this time. Room temperature was at 75 degrees Fahrenheit. LPA measured the hot water temperature in the 1 of 2 bathrooms to be at 111 degrees Fahrenheit. Both client bathrooms were observed to be in clean and good repair at this time.

Fire extinguisher was observed in the kitchen area and in the hallways and were last inspected on 6/4/2025. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were observed throughout. LPA observed toxins, sharp objects and other dangerous items were kept locked and inaccessible to clients. Kitchen refrigerator and freezer were maintained at regulatory temperature.

Outdoor area was inspected. LPA observed outdoor furniture for client use. Ramps were observed to be in good repair at this time. Emergency walkways were observed to be unobstructed.
