The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Martha Arroyo arrived at the facility unannounced to conduct a required annual visit today. At 09:32 a.m., the LPA called the Administrator, Todd Uramoto and informed them of the visit. The Administrator arrived at approximately 10:20 a.m. Entrance interview conducted.

Starting at 09:40 a.m., the LPA along with staff toured the physical plant areas inside and outside to ensure there are no health and safety hazards and that facility is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations. The following was observed:

Bedrooms: There are four (4) bedrooms for client use. All client bedrooms are designated as single / private occupancy. The LPA observed client bedrooms to be properly furnished with adequate furniture and sufficient lighting.

Bathrooms : There is one (1) bathroom for client use. Bathroom was observed to be equipped with nonskid surfaces. The LPA observed bathroom to be relatively clean and had functional fixtures. Starting at 09:52 a.m., the hot water temperature was measured in client bathroom, and it measured 110 degrees Fahrenheit at the time of the visit.
