Complaint Investigation Report

It was alleged that staff does not ensure facility grounds are free of rodents. It was reported that rodents were seen running out of the piles of junk at the facility. During the facility walkthrough, the LPA did not observed rodents on the inside or outside of the perimeter. Additionally, record review and interviews conducted revealed that the facility has had a pest control company service the facility to ensure rodents aren't present at the home. Based on observations and information obtained and reviewed, the Department has insufficient evidence to support the allegation of “staff does not ensure facility grounds are free of rodents”. Therefore, this allegation is deemed Unsubstantiated at this time.
