Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Zabel Chochian conduct a required annual visit to this facility today. Upon arrival, the LPA was greeted by staff. LPA introduced self and reason for the visit was explained. Staff contacted the Administrator, Norma Zanders who arrived to the facility at approximately 11:15am.
The LPA and staff toured the physical plant areas inside and outside to ensure there are no health and safety hazards and facility is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations. The following was observed:
COMMON AREAS: At the time of the visit, required postings were observed throughout the common space. The LPA observed a fireplace adequately covered at the time of the visit. Furniture in the common areas was observed to be in good condition. The facility maintained a comfortable temperature at 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Activities were observed in the living room. A working telephone observed on premises.
KITCHEN: The LPA inspected the kitchen/food service area at approximately 10am. Knives and sharps were observed locked under the kitchen sink. Kitchen appliances were in operable condition. The facility has a sufficient supply of perishable and non-perishable food. Refrigerator and food pantry were checked for proper labels and expiration dates. The fire extinguisher located in the kitchen observed to be fully charged with a date of 07/01/2026. The LPA observed a closet in the hallway with additional clean linens and towels. Auditory alarms were observed at the time of the visit. No obstructions or hazards observed inside or out. (Continued to LIC 809C)
