Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Quoc Huynh arrived at the facility unannounced to conduct a required annual inspection at 11:21AM. LPA met with Administrator Vanessa Garcia who arrived at 12:02PM and explained the purpose of the visit. Entrance interview conducted.
LPA Huynh and the Administrator conducted a tour of the physical plant at 12:26PM to ensure there were no health and safety hazards, and the facility is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations. The following was observed:
COMMON AREAS: At the time of the visit, the living room and dining room furniture was observed to be in good condition. The living room had a fireplace that was screened and inoperable in addition to a locked dresser that contained archived files. An office area was located near the entryway and had required postings along the wall. The hallway had a locked closet that contained general storage and Residents’ P&I money. The facility maintained a comfortable temperature throughout the visit.
KITCHEN: Knives were stored inaccessible in the garage. Kitchen appliances were in good and operable condition. The facility had enough supply of perishable and non-perishable food. The freezer and refrigerator were stocked with a variety of foods and observed to be of good quality with labels and dates.
