The inspector’s account

On May 20, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Murial Han conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with caregivers, Miles and Annie Pinkian and LPA explained the purpose of today's visit. Program Coordinator, Rommel Dionson arrived and assisted with the inspection.

LPA toured the facility inside and out. There are 1 shared bedroom and four private bedrooms for residents and 2 common bathrooms plus a private bathroom in room 3. In the garage, there is a small staff room with 2 bunk beds in it, and adjacent bathroom. On the lower level, there is a living unit for staff, with 4 bedrooms, 2 storage rooms, a full kitchen and a full bathroom.

LPA inspected the living room, dining area, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and backyard. The indoor and outdoor passageways were free of obstruction. LPA observed the construction for the ADU has been completed and LPA requested for a new facility sketch for a fire clearance inspection.

Furniture and furnishings were observed to be sufficient. Food supplies were sufficient of 2- days perishables and 7- days of non-perishables. Toilet, hand washing and bathing areas were observed clean and in operating condition. Showers were observed equipped with grab bars. Comfortable temperature is maintained and lighting is sufficient for comfort

Bed sheets, linens, and towels were observed to be sufficient and able to meet the needs of the residents at this time.

Central storage medications, sharps and chemicals were observed to be locked and inaccessible to residents in care.
