Facility Evaluation Report

Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Magda Malcore and Rima Corona conducted an unannounced visit to the facility to conduct the required comprehensive annual inspection. LPAs were granted to the facility, met and discussed the purpose of the visit with Administrator Magdalena Ramirez.

The facility has four (4) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, attached garage, and backyard. The facility is an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) with a license capacity of four (4) and a current census of four (4). The facility is a certified by Inland Regional Center (IRC). LPAs conducted an overall inspection of the facility, which included, but was not limited to, the following:

Physical Plant: The facility is operating in the capacity approved by Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD). Indoor and outdoor passageways are free of obstructions. Outdoor activity space is enclose with a self-latching gate. The facility is maintained at a comfortable temperature of 71 degrees Fahrenheit (F). Client bedrooms were equipped with beds, nightstands, storage space, chairs, and sufficient lighting. Client bathrooms and equipment were operating in a safe and sanitary condition. Water temperatures in the two bathrooms tested at 106 and 107 degrees (F). The facility is equipped with operational smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector, door alarm system, covered fire place, charged fire extinguisher, telephone service, hallway night light and first aid kit with manual. Cleaning supplies, toxins, and sharps were kept locked and inaccessible to clients in care.

Posters such as; the personal rights, Community Care Licensing complaint poster, and emergency disaster plan were posted in a common area. The facility had emergency kits, emergency food and water.
