Facility Evaluation Report
On 11/8/24 at 1:00pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kevin Gould conducted an unannounced inspection to Love and Comfort Elderly Care RCFE for the purpose of addressing deficiencies observed regarding the facility Administrator.
LPA received notification on 10/9/24 that the facility administrator was resigning effective immediately. LPA requested the licensee to provide the documents to appoint a new administrator. The licensee did not provide adequate information to appoint a new administrator and the individual appointed did not have a current administrator certificate approved by the department. LPA and licensee discussed next steps and the actions that must be taken to appoint a new administrator.
LPA identified all documentation required to appoint a new administrator.
The following deficiency is cited per California Code of Regulations, Title 22.
Exit interview conducted with the licensee and a copy of this report was left at the Facility.
