-Facility staff did not provide adequate food service for resident(s)
On 12/29/22 at 9:00AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Chris Hopkins conducted an unannounced facility visit in regards to a complaint investigation with the above allegation. LPA Hopkins met with Executive Director Luis Olivas and explained the purpose of today's visit.
Regarding the allegation of Facility staff did not provide adequate food service for resident(s), the Department found the following; based on interview and record review, it was determined that Resident 1 (R1) is given insulin 4 times a day at 8am, 12pm, 4pm, and 8pm. When R1 is given insulin at 8am, 12pm, and 4pm R1 eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner at those times. The facility provides 3 snacks throughout the day as well.
Although the allegations may have happened and/or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
