The inspector’s account

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ahliah Sharp conducted an unannounced visit for a required annual inspection . The LPA was greeted by Administrative Assistant Maria Camacho, who then escorted LPA Sharp to Administrator Alexander Ogle and notified Ogle of the purpose for the visit.

Facility Overview: The facility is a single- story building with 46 clients' bedrooms, 22 bathrooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a laundry room, a medication room, 3 group rooms and a gym. The facility does not have a pool on grounds and there are no firearms on the premises at the time of this inspection.

Infection Control: LPA observed that hygiene and cleaning supplies were available for regular facility maintenance. The facility’s infection control plan (ICP) was reviewed, and Ogle was reminded that it is best practice to review and/or update IPP’s annually or whenever is deemed necessary as recommended by proper authorities per Title 22.

Physical Plant: The physical plant, including floors, windows, and doors, was clean and well maintained. Fixtures and furniture were in good repair. Laundry equipment was in good working condition. Sharp and dangerous objects were securely locked in the kitchen and inaccessible to clients. The smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are tested through the county of Riverside. LPA observed fire extinguishers to be following the department's requirements with the most recent inspection being conducted 7/28/2026. The water temperature was tested within regulations measuring 111.7 F
