Facility Evaluation Report
Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michael Tea made an unannounced visit to the facility today to conduct a continuation of the annual required inspection. LPA was greeted and granted entry by the facility staff and explained the reason for the visit. Executive Director (ED) John Goodwin arrived shortly after to assist with the continued annual inspection.
During today’s visit, LPA Tea reviewed medication storage and administration. Medications are stored in locked carts on different floors of the facility. Medications are being administered per physician’s order.
LPA spoke to staff that were present regarding care provided. During the visit LPA Tea observed residents having breakfast and lunch in the dining area.
Based on the observations made during today’s visit, no deficiencies were noted today in the areas inspected per Title 22 Division 6 of the California Code of Regulations.
An exit interview was conducted with ED John Goodwin and a copy of this report was given to the facility.
