Interviews show that C1 has not denied or refused medication. Review of medication record does not indicate medication refusal or medication error for the date provided. Based on the interviews conducted and files reviewed, there was not enough supportive evidence to concur with the reported allegation. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
In regards to the allegations "Staff did not prevent residents from smoking marijuana inside facility. " it was alleged that staff do not prevent clients from smoking marijuana in the facility. (7) of (7) Staff interviewed denied the allegation. (15) of (16 ) clients interviewed could not corroborate the allegation. LPA was not provided with proof that clients are smoking marijuana in the facility. During the tour of the physical plant, LPA did not observe or smell marijuana in the facility. Interviews state that clients are not allowed to smoke inside the building. Clients are aware marijuana is not allowed in the facility. Clients are allowed to smoke in the outdoor patio areas but not inside the facility. Based on the interviews and observations conducted there was not enough supportive evidence to concur with the reported allegation. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
