Complaint Investigation Report
Interviews show that the facility has thermostats controlling the temperature spread out throughout the hallways and in some client rooms. Staff interviewed were not aware of any clients currently having issues with the temperature in the facility or in the rooms. The thermostats are set to keep the temperature under 86 degrees and above 67 degrees. C1 stated there are times the room gets too cold and their body aches. C1 stated to not have actually notified staff of this issue. LPA observed temperatures in rooms entered to be comfortable. The thermostats observed were at 72 degrees and 68 degrees throughout the hallways and rooms entered. Based on interviews, files reviewed, and observations; although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Exit interview was conducted with Joyce Garcia Administrator and a copy of this report was provided.
