The inspector’s account

On 05/07/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jose Anguiano conducted an unannounced annual inspection visit at the facility. LPA met with Administrator Reynaldo Aro, and entry into the facility was granted.

The facility is licensed as an Adult Day Program to serve forty-five (45) developmentally disabled adults. At the time of the visit, the facility census was thirty-six (36) clients, with thirty (30) clients present and attending the program during today’s inspection.

The facility consists of two (2) buildings. Building-1 contains two (2) staff offices, one (1) visitation room, one (1) computer lab, one (1) kitchen, and two (2) bathrooms. Building- 2 contains one (1) large activity room, two (2) bathrooms, and one (2) storage sheds outside of the backyard.

The Department toured the interior and exterior grounds of the facility and observed no obstructions or safety hazards. Outdoor shaded areas equipped with rectangular tables and chairs were observed. Two (2) shaded outdoor areas were designated for client activities. An outdoor activity area was observed. A vegetable garden maintained by clients with staff assistance was also observed. A weekly activity schedule was posted and available for review. Five (5) clients and five (5) staff records were reviewed and were current and complete. The day program currently has no clients requiring medication administration; however, a designated locked cabinet for medication storage was observed. Facility staff do not handle personal or incidental monies for clients.
