Facility Evaluation Report
On 12/27/2023 at 12:30 PM , Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) P. Watson arrived unannounced to Required 1 Year Annual inspection. LPA met with Program Director, Kaitlen Oneal and explained the purpose of the visit. Day program operates from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Fire clearance was approved for 30 Non-Ambulatory.
LPA toured facility including but not limited to, activity rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and office spaces. LPA observed sufficient furniture and lighting throughout the facility. Participants bring their own lunches and snacks, facility staff sometimes takes them to buy their own lunches off-site. Emergency supplies, including water were observed. Cleaning supplies are locked and inaccessible to clients . Medications are currently not handled/dispensed by this program. Comfortable temperature was maintained at 70 degrees Fahrenheit i nside the facility. Restrooms were observed clean and sanitary. The hot water temperature in the participants bathrooms were measured at 116 degrees Fahrenheit and 115.3 degrees Fahrenheit. Incontinent participants are kept clean and dry, and the facility is free of odors. The program has 2 vans and 1 bus used for client outings . Emergency disaster drills are conducted monthly between the months of February and November and includes but not limited to fire, earthquake, flood, and active shooter. F ire extinguishers throughout facility were last inspected 08/25/2023. First aid kit was complete.
No deficiencies cited during visit. Exit interview conducted and a copy of this report provided.
